About Us

Formed in 2016, Champions for Children is a group of young professionals whose main mission is to raise awareness for the amazing health care miracles being performed daily at Texas Children’s Cancer Center.

Champions for Children continues to expand its membership and its capacity to support cancer research through philanthropy, volunteering and special events.

about our affiliations

In addition to our affiliation with Texas Children’s Cancer Center, we also partner with the Curing Children’s Cancer Fund (CCCF). Because of our affiliation with CCCF, Champions for Children receives all the tax incentives of a 501(C)(3) without the associated start-up and operating costs. This ensures that the majority of the funds we raise goes directly where they’re needed most — to support pediatric cancer research.

about meaning behind the ringing bell

Ringing the Bell

A ringing bell can signify many different things. For example, it might mean church is about to begin, dinner is ready, that it’s time to wake up for school or that school is over for the day. At Texas Children’s Cancer Center, a ringing bell signifies something far more meaningful — that one of our patients has reached his or her long-awaited end of treatment.

Your donation can help even more children ring their bells and celebrate this life-changing milestone.
